Vasectomy?

Don't know if this is the right place to post this, but wondering about if there is a minimum age for vasectomies (DH is 33) and also how you go about getting one - does he just go to the doc for a referral? Does anyone know someone good in Sydney?

My DH had his vasectomy at 26. He got a referral from his GP and went to a specialist who did the procedure in his office. It took about half an hour and he walked out. I think its normal for the wife to sign a consent form though, not sure if thats for every state though.

My Dh is looking at/into this after Zyon has arrived, initially I wasnt happy as I wasnt sure we were done, but the longer this preg drags the more certain I am that I dont think I'll go through this again!!!

Mind you he has only mentioned it once! I told him to book in etc, that waqy it's his choice & not mine so i can still cry down the track that he has had it done... LOL

Trace Id want to be very very sure. We had darrens done when Livvy was one as I was soo sure too but i so regretted it right away.

Yeah I think since his initial shock at having #3 on the way he is more of the what will be will be mind! But I am feeling too old (in myself & body) to go again... It certainly wont be something that he just goes out & does... But it is on the cards??? Fo sometime in the future!???
