Yeah we got one with very tall safety rails and instead of her head being near the stairs, she's on the other end of the bed. A few nights ago she wanted to sleep in the bottom bunk & fell out twice!! Thank god for the guard rails.

Well, the bunks are up. EEEEK! He's climbed up and down a gazillion times tonihgt and he's actually really good at it. We've been drilling in to him that once he's up there he is to lie down. No playing or leaning over the edge.

He also knows he's in big trouble if he climbs up there without mum or dad, as we want to do lots and lots of practice and 'training' LOL before he's allowed to sleep up there. So he's asleep in the bottom bunk at the moment. I've actually always loved the bottom bunk, it's like a little hidey hole.

So I'll let you know how we go.

My mum of course is freaking out and begging us not to let him sleep up there. It's not the sleeping I'm worried about.. it's cracking down on the no playing up there that we've got to work on. I'm just hoping he remembers he's not allowed to climb up there when he wakes up in the morning!

haha my 3 year old is a monkey and swings down from the top now. The first 20 times he did it I nearly died but now i'm used to seeing it. Still haven't had an injury and he's been up there since May
