My parents are 48, they think they are way too young to be grandparents! To be fair though, my mum could pass for 35. I don't look my age either, so I have had people tell me I'm too young to have a baby! I'm 25.
My Nan C would've been in her mid 30s, I think, her first grandchild was born a year or so after my mumI'd never really thought of it like that! She was 55 when she became a great-grandmother, 75ish when she hit great-great.
Nan M... I have no idea, because I'm not sure when she was born or how old my oldest cousin is on that sideI'm going to guess late 40s, possibly mid 50s. All her kids were close together and the older ones had a later start having kids than the younger ones, so almost all the grandkids were born in the span of ten years or so.
My mum was 46 when Ianto was born, 47 when Amelia was born (for those who refuse to count Ianto)

So..... I made my mum a nanna when she was...33 or 34 *oops*
Cool thread! My Mum is 51. Dad and ILs are in their 60s. I'm hoping DH and I can make them grandparents next year.
My grandma (Dad's Mum) is the only grandparent DH and I have left. She's 80 and became a great-grandmother when she was about 73 I think via my cousin and his girlfriend.
My mum would have been 59 and my dad was 60. My MIL was in her 60s.
If my children have kids at the same age I had them then I'll be late 60s or in my 70s when I become a grandparent.
My mum told us very early on that she had to be at least 50 to have grandkids. My brother announced their pregnancy on her 50th birthday haha. Dad was 52.
My MIL was 55 and FIL 58 when they became grandparents
My mum was 43 i think when no.1 grandchild was born
Dad was 59 and Mum was 57 when my nephew was born.
55?..
Mine were 44 when their first grandchild was born, 46 for the next, and 51 for the one about to be born.
Mum would have been 42 or 43 when my niece was born
Wow lots of young grandparents! My mum was 60 and dad was 63 - mum had me when she was 27 which was old back then and I was 34 when I had my first. My mum at 67 though leaves most women 20 years younger than her in her wake as she has so much energy.
Mum 39 and Dad 40 - My mum had my sister at 20 and she had her first bub at 19......argh! I'm older than my parents where when they had their first grandchild!
My dad was 39
Mum was 36
Stepdad was 54
Stepmum was 37
DP's mum was 46
I was starting to feel like the only one!
My parents were both 36, MIL was also 36 & FIL 37.
My paternal grandma, who's now passed, was 60 when she became a great grandmother. My paternal pop was 71, is now 82. My maternal grandma was 68 or 69... she's 80 now. Never knew my maternal grandfather.
If they keep going the way they are they might be around to meet the first great-great grandchild!

My Mum was 60. Dad turned 57 on the day his grand daughter was born.
My parents had me when Mum was 36, which was really late back then!
My best friend is about to become a Nana at 42....any day now and I will also be known as Nanna as well, so exciting!!!
My Mum was 58, MIL around 68, FIL slightly older. I was younger than all of them having my first. My Grandma was 80 when she became a great-Grandma.
My cousin became a grandmother at 35 after her daughter (a teen pregnancy) also had a teen pregnancy.
