MG growing up for me it was "it's not fair" then Dad would reply "neither is a black man's bottom" - not terribly PC but annoyed us the second time he came out with it. And all the times after that too.

I only pick DS's nose with a tissue over my fingers - and only so he can breathe when he has a cold. But I have done that once or twice.
