My X-ss is 8.5 and even now if he is at the shops with female relatives they will take him to the mum's and babies room, instead of letting him go alone. He also has Aspergers and it is not practicle for him to be unaccompanied.

My daughter will be coming to public toilets with me until she is at least 30!... honestly I hadn't thought of his but seeing as we are both female I can go to the loo with her without it being an issue.
