Hollywood Fertility: Dr Lincoln Brett

Hi chics

Well next month we have our first appointment at Hollywood IVF with Dr Brett...,

Anyone had any dealings or want to shed some light on what to expect? They've been so helpful so far considering we live in the country they have been very accommodating

I went to Hollywood and found the nurses to be fantastic and supportive throughout, including the poor love whose head I bit off in a very stressed state one day. Our first appointment was meeting with the doctor, who examined me and DH and took a very detailed history of what had been going on. He then laid out his plan of where to go from here. Then sat down with one of the nurses to go through the procedures in detail, and then the accounts lady who gives you the bad news re costing. We were both then sent off for a barrage of blood tests. DH was booked in for a semen analysis, and then it all began in ernest when DH returned from working overseas a couple of months later.

I haven't had any dealings with Dr Brett or heard anything about him, so can't help you there. I have a few friends who have gone through Hollywood and haven't heard any bad reports from any of them.

you've probably met Dr. Brett by now but he is my doc. at Hollywood. He has been wonderful to both my husband and I and has gone the extra mile a couple of times to help us. He is caring and understanding but also straight forward and doesn't waste my time, which I personally like. I would highly recommended him. All the staff at Hollywood have been amazingly supportive to us.

Thanks we have had our first appointment and had the TESA done. He was fantastic and wholeheartedly agree in the 'strait to the point' approach - which is great. I have our 21 day appointment on the 20th of April which I'm excited about. Hopefully if all goes to plan we will be joining the tww thread in mid may
