Ivf with westmead

Goodluck Mrs M. We used Westmead and they were great. I needed extra med and scans on top of what i had cause i had plenty of eggs but they werent getting big enough fast enough and it was all included. Goodluck

Sorry cant help you there i had a male fertility specialist and at the clinic i had abit of both. Leave your pride at the front door and pick it up on the way out is my moto. As long as they get the job done and get it done right thats all that matters!
Hey Smithy pill popping thats wonderful, one step closer for you darln.
I took Breah to the clinic today to show her off and to thank them for giving her life.
They said to me is she always this happy, always full of smilies and always up for a chat. Lol i guess shes like her mum there.

Dr Lorance Melhem is my gynaecologist and she is fantastic!

I haven't gone through her as a FS as I am using a different service, but I would heartily recommend her as a gynae!

Hope you dont mind me popping in, Ive been TTC#2 since aug last year, was told in jan that we would need IVF but been putting it off in hope of a miricle.
We r booked into see DR Melhem begining of janurary, How long does the process take? from 1st visit till 1st cycle?

HELLO AND WELCOME KRISSY...
GOOD LUK WITH YOUR IVF HUN ITS A VERY LONG JOURNEY BUT IM SURE YOULL BE FINE AND I HOPE YOU GET YOUR BFP FIRST GO .
we are going through westmead this time and from the day we seen our fs we just had to wait for af to come to start the pill,BUT.. as we have already been through ivf 2 times we had already had all out tests and SA done so that saves time .
then you take the pill and syneral and injections and all up our actuall cycle takes nearly 7 weeks that is full IVF-ICSI
so have you had all your testing done hun ?? then if all is set to go really its up to you as to when you start

Krissy mine was about 8weeks.
One of my friends has just started they seen the fs Dr Soo last thursday but had all there tests with them to save time example past test full blood test sperm count etc and her expected date for egg pick up is 4th of November.

aww EM you have worded it so much better than me ..thanks hun..yeh your rite all up about 8 weeks cause i started the pill 9-9-08 and EPU isnt due till 27th october .and we had all the tests done prior

and im going good hun just pill poppen still bit teary lately bit moody (my poor dh) but good other wise.
how you going with that beautiful little girl of yours ??hope all is well with all of you hun thinking of you

Thanks heaps, wow i never realised it would take so long, Yeah we have had all the tests done already, Hubby's are "homer" like as DH calls it, and i dont Ovulate. Was on Clomid for 6 months but nothing happened.
Can you still work while all this is going on, the needles and pills?
Is it weird the im really excited to get started?

aww your welcome my sweet i no how you feel about being excited already..good on you hunny..
and to answer your question ..yep i still work at a nursing home in the kitchen and we work bloody hard to but this time i think im going to stop and take it easy but im sure its up to the indvidual i get a bit funny when im going through my cycles and dont really wont to work lol..
but your gonnan do wonderful hun so take care and if you need to no anything else feel free to ask either EM OR ME can help anytime we have plenty of experience but hopefully this is my last time and em has got a beautiful little ivf baby girls and shes wanting to go again with her frostys
