Oh Gina yes I know how funny are we being that we have had alot of the same happen ..ive also had the other tube taken as it was an ectopic as well. But that one was nat not from IVF. Oh well as you said its all worth it. I to if I have any eggs left will donate as well.

I used to post on this forum and decided that i should let you know that i am now pg because of RPA Fertility clinic. They are excellent and so is your doctor. Dont worry if no one has posted about it as only a handful at a time get through to them.

I am having twins on my first attempt - so anything is poss. If you want any extra info let me know so i can give you my private email address and i am happy to give you a few phone numbers and names. My friend is a nurse at the hospital as a midwife and she recommended that i go through them as it was the cheapest and best option. Everything that is done at Sydney IVF is done at the hospital and SIVF looks after everything for the hospital anyway.

I would love to help you out as i didnt really have that much info before i started there. If you need anything just let me know.

You are in very good hands - we might have even passed each other in the hallway!!

Hi,

I am only new to this forum.

I have just come out of hospital ,because I was supposed to have a cyst removed which was located next to my left ovary, but unfortunately the whole left ovary was removed along with the cyst.
Also, when the Gyno checked the right ovary, he told me that I have a slim chance of falling pregnant from the right one.
I have two girls aged 3.5 years and 4.5 years.
We have always wanted three but did not expect this to happen. I felll pregnant naturally with both girls at the age of 39 and 40. This news has really shocked me. My only alternative is IVF.
I cannot afford to go to a private clinic and have heard that at Weastmead Hosp, the final age that they accept is 43. I am now 44.

Can you give me some advise or even phone numbers of where I should go to do this procedure in a public hosp.

Hi Garouse,

I am going to see the Dr this afternoon. Am a bit anxious coz this is my first attempt.

I am a bit too emotional and sensitive nowadays, I just want to know how is his bedside manners. I've been through a lot these past five years with several major operations. Both tubes were out and the dilemma of being misdiagnosed (from other country) still haunts me. But I am coping and turning it into a more positive ambiance.

It is nice to know that I am in good hands in terms of the Dr's success factor.

Thanks for the information. I am quite happy to know that there are few users here who went to RPAH fertility. I really need some informations as this is my first attempt. I am very excited, happy, anxious, its really a mix emotions.

Although,last tuesday the Dr didnt face us, yet he was in the clinic. It was his assistant for the second time who faced us and asked me for another round of ultrasound. That was my 2nd ultrasound, they just want to make sure about my tubes. Apparently both were gone last year and yet the sonologist found one(?) in the left side. The diagnosis was really disturbing. The thought of someone says that I still have one yet my surgeon showed me the picture and both dont exist anymore.

Oh well! I am really confused and lost right now. I will be seeing them again next month.

Hi everyone,

This is the beginning of my journey into IVF, I had my first ultrasound yesterday, 26 Oct. It seems that on top of the fact I know I have to go through IVF already I now may have a polycystic ovary.... I can't wait to go back and see my Dr! I am hopeful that there will be success on my first attempt. I just want to say it is really nice to read about other ladies in the same situation as me, I don't feel so alone. So prince3rd, how did your first attempt go?
Would love to hear more about experiences with RPAH Fertility Clinic.
