i use bb nappies i know they say to dry pail them but i find wee makes it go redish in colour when sitting there till washing time, i found this out after i went shopping and forgot to take the soiled nappies out intill next morning.
I always rinse Poop off not wee. i fill a bucket with water and put them in there till its time for washing. I always use the booster with the label towards the back facing up. This way i know exactly which way to face the booster towards the sun. I have micro fleece liners too just cut out no hemming involved i use these to help collect the poop. makes for much easier rinsing. happy to answer any more q's pm em
i would be very reluctant to wet pail - sitting them in water for long periods can impact the integrity of the elastic - i would, and do, as the others have said - dry them in the sun. i hang them out on an airer just in partial sun near my front door (clothes line too far away in so-so weather) and we've gotten rid of some absolutely shocking stains!
I have honey child nappies and use a frontloader and always do a double wash and the extra rinse as well and then as the ladies have said dry them in the sun. I dry pail as well as soaking can cause damage to the micro fibre or bamboo changing the absorbtion and the life of them and with what you spend on them you wnat it to last a long time.
not sure how long it would take to have an impact squid - i'd just be very reluctant to leave them in the water unless you know they're made with the same stuff used in bathers (which i don't think they are from memory) - they integrity of the elastic just isn't there. you're probably better off rinsing than soaking...
