Ours is on Tuesday but the morning tea is for the parents only because there are children with allergies. I am making a massive pav base tomorrow and filling it there on Tues. Takes barely any ingredients and barely any time for prep, once its in the oven it can sit there all day to cool ready for the next day.
I always make from scratch and I use 1/4 cup of castor sugar per egg. Because I need to do a big one I will be using the following:
Then when I fill I will beat 2 large cartoons of cream WITH a packet of raspberries and a little sugar then top with strawberries and a little holly sprig (for decoration only)
Oh my gosh, such great ideas! I don't know what to do now, though I think I will try out everyone of these ideas at some point.
The santas are sooo cute and look yum yum yummy!
Those strawberry santas look great! How about making some dips, like fresh avo, lemon & LSA and another one like pumpkin, fetta and crushed pine nuts. The will be colorful and you can serve with some fresh tiger bread strips on the side.
