Yoghurt? roasted veg sticks with cumin? cucumber slices? Craisins? Turkish bead with hommus? I often just give j the end slice of bread, keeps him happy. Or a 9 grain vitaweat, or even a plain, dry weetbix to munch on. Makes an amazing mess, but he likes it. You'd be surprised what makes them happy

Im subscribing cause Im interested in ideas too

Jasmine loves yoghurt over chopped fruit, custard over fruit too. She also likes a platter with ham, cheese, fruit. Tortillas with cheese and morrocan spice mix grilled ( mummy likes these too). Savoury scones or muffins. Saladas or jatz with cheese and veg or tomato and cheese. Baked beans. Scrambled eggs with lots of veg in it. Low fat dip and rice crackers. Cold veggie fritters

My dd favourite snack is a piece of fruit and a banana smoothie (banana, yogurt and milk), fills her up for ages

Plain popcorn is one of DS's favourites, plain rice crackers, corn muffins, those rice wheels you can buy at the supermarket.

Air popped pop corn - DD1 loves it, no added salt etc - really good for you!
Home cooked stuff is always better - like scones, pikelets, fruit kebabs. Frozen bananas/yoghurt with paddlepop sticks. Jelly cups with fruit.

a bit back to basics but sangers are a favourite and not too messy if you pick the right fillings

I just read somewhere that someone drained a can of chick peas, put seasoning on it (I think they sprayed them with olive oil and put a small amount of curry seasoning mild with some salt and pepper) and roasted them until they were toasted. Let them cool so they are nicy and crunchy. Something a bit different.

I often take pita bread and cut it up and spray with olive oil and sprinkle some salt on it and roast it so its like chips and call it chips for the girls We dip it in hummous in our house...

    great thanks girls

    these are great ideas.

i thought i would share ones my DD loves lol (she is a bit strange with 'fav foods lol)

    SHe loves
    mushrooms (raw as is).
butter beans - i swear she will eat a whole can if you let her!
cheese (she too would eat this all day but i dont like her to have too much)
    yogurts

i think i just need to get off my bottom and make a few things in advance... might do that this weekend while dh is home. i wonder how long these stay ok for int he fridge?
