Peel, core and chop apples
Puree with apple or orange juice.
stewed apples
1 cup water
1/2 cup sugar
This is for 500g fruit
remove skin, core and sees and roughly chop
put into a saucepan with sugar and water; cover and stew until the fruit is tender.
Mash or puree or slice.
From memory my mum always added a clove? kids might not like that though.
