Question Formula for 14mth old- is this ok?

Just a side note - I know DD doesnt NEED formula anymore and can have cows milk, but cows milk just causes her to be so congested and blocked up, that is why I have her on formula.

My question is regarding to the type of formula. I have tried a couple of toddler formulas including S26 and karicare toddler immune, but I keep going back to DD's favourite which is the Heinz Nurture 2 formula (from 6mths). Its the one with the red lid and the giraffe on it.

Is it okay for DD to be having this formula even thought its not a toddler one?

What formula do you get for for your toddler if they are on formula?

    TIA

as you know DD2 isnt on cows milk but will have oat milk (as do i) it may take her some time toget used to a differnt taste!
ive also asked my Dr about mucos and cows milk and was told there not linked

Thanks hun. I tried the alternatives and she hated it.

I was also told there no link between dairy and congestion but I think because DD always has a runny nose from daycare, it seems to become worse when she is having dairy.

The toddler formulas have a lot of sugar, so I'd tend to think leaving her on a baby formula would be the way to go, if you are sticking with formula. Toddler formula is a very recent thing and seems to be predominantly a marketing exercise by formula companies to extend the length of time you buy their products.

jack thrived and stayed on formula till he was about 20mths then finally he would have a cows milk...he didn't go onto stage 2 till he was 11mths then stayed on that till 20mths if that makes sense
