Hello,

Am I the only one out there ff a toddler?

My DS1 has been diagnosed as anemic, as a result I have had to giving him formula rather then the cows milk he has been drinking to try and increase his iron intake (a preferred method to giving my boy drugs). I have only used formula for about 3 months for my DD when she weened off the boob at 10mths old. So this is all pretty new to me - not to mention strange, as I am bf a baby and ff a toddler.

The biggest problem I am having is that he doesn't seem to like the taste of formula very much. The first tin we bought, he hated - I then realised it was vanilla flavour. So back at the shops I look more closely and nearly all of the top quality toddler formula is flavoured vanilla. I finally found one that has no flavour (an organic formula, cann't remember the name). He will only drink this if he is not allowed any other drink. Yet he used to drink at least a Litre of cows milk a day, Now, it is a struggle to get him to drink 300mL formula over the course of a day (the dr wants him drinking at least 400ml if we can).

hhhhmmmm.... I am not sure if anyone else has had to deal with starting a 2yr old on formula before, but any suggestions to make it easier are welcome.
