Havent noticed a change yet HJ...I am really hoping that it works though otherwise i dont know what will! I'm still giving her 1 scoop of step 2, just to use it up, it was almost a full tin so I don't want to throw it out. Giving her the coloxyl drops still but they don't seem to be making a difference either..I don't know if it's because she is only drinking half of her bottle so she's then not getting all of the coloxyl?
Will see how we go over the next couple of days, hopefully by then she should have sorted herself out.
Hmmm poor bubba girl! hope its not for too much longer, does she seem to be in any pain or discomfort? Have you introduced water yet? and not sure if this would make a difference or not but are her bottles warm or cold? and maybe stop the 2step all together for a little bit than go slowly back to it - it should be fine to last a while before its goes bad - so you wouldn't be wasting it!
Coloxyl drops always worked a treat on Miss B! so did tummy rubs and warm baths!

ss storm, i had the same question about a month ago. step 2 is badddd!! lol now my DD has a hemmorhoid (sp?) and has to be on coloxyl drops and novolac constipation formula til the hemmoroid has cleared up...the chemist said 'they have to go on step 2' but doc said thats rubbish and they only say that cause it costs more....
Queen- what a bummer you can't return the formula! We go through a tin about every 6 days so that's a fair bit.
Well seems there may be some progress...DD had a normal runny poo today with no hard lumps in it (I just have to go back to rinsing nappies now ). i have gone back to straight step 1, but will have to use at least 1 scoop of step 2 starting in the next week or so just to use up the tin I have left. I won't be going back to buying it though.
Thanks for all your responses. I feel so much better now! And a bit cranky at the doctor too...don't think I will go back to him again.
Emma- hope your little one is feeling better soon...I think DD is pretty close to getting one, she has a little raised lump right on her bottom. So no doubt if she kept going the way she was it would have turned into a hemarroid too.
