Can you help me identify this plant?

We have a plant in our backyard that we had no idea what it is!

It looks awesome and would love to put a name to it. I have uploaded a photo HERE and would greatly appreciate the help!

    TIA

whoa that's big! Do you have a local plant nursery you could show the photo to? Or there may be some professional plant person (yes, technical term ) you could email the photo to? (like a botanic gardens or something?)

Yes I agree it looks line a succulent. There used to be a bb'er who was a horticulturist but I haven't seen her for a while

Thanks girls. I have been meaning to take the photo to a local nursery. I will be heading past one tomorrow so may take the camera there if we don't find the answer here before hand!

    Thanks so much

Further research leads me to think it's an Agave attenuata or similar

I think you were right with the Yucca Tanya! I think it's Yucca guatemalensis (syn Yucca elephantipes) or Giant Yucca. Whatever it is it's very hardy and easy to grow.

ETA: Nope, now I'm with you on the Agave attenuata!

We're not sure what to do with it. It's in the middle of where we want to put a few things. It is such a gorgeous plant though.

Thanks so much girls for your help!

They are great in pots So if you don't want to dispose of it, throw it in a pot

Definitely Agave attenuata, they are very expensive to buy, especially at that size, they create little suckers/new plants, I recommend potting them up.
