I am so sorry for not getting back to you

Here are the species that would suit your area, that have either colour changes in their leaves or flowers, and are generally all a good bold green

Rhoeo discolor dwarf, this has green on the topside of the leaf with a purple underneath (I  this plant!)
Viola hederacea (native violet, this grows well in the shade and sun, has a pruple flower)
Trachelospermum jasminoides (jasmine, this has a strong smell, but is lovely, also a very efficient climber, has a white flower)
Myoporum ellipticum (Myoporums are a great groundcovers, I use them a lot, very hardy, reliable and have a small white flower)
Brachyscome multifida (Another "proven" species, has a nice daisy like white flower as well)

HTH's so sorry for not getting back to you earlier
