Hi there, This is only my 2nd year of organic gardening, so I am new to it. I have printed out a great list of companion plant from Wikipedia it is the best list I have come across. I am starting to apply the principles in my garden. We use worm wee a lot from our worm farm, mulch everywhere we can and hand pick weeds and bugs. I am starting to collect our own seeds from plants that I have let go to seed. my first success stories are from lettuce, onion, tomato, pumpkin and cucumber. We have plans to keep chooks to help with the weeds and bugs in the orchard and so we can collect the manure.
We have planted some bird attracting trees around the vegie gardens which are alive with the fluttering and chirping of great range of birds hopefully they will help keep the bugs down.
