I'm back in the 2WW, although this time hopefully with more success than my previous IUI attempts. We're doing an IVF cycle this time around, and I had a 7 cell embryo transferred today. Now I have to distract myself until the 9th June when I have my blood test to find out if it sticks. *fingers crossed*

Hey all just introducing ourselves.. Im Rachel and my partner is Tasman.. currently on the 2WW and counting down the days that are quite simply taking forever!! This is our 3rd at home insemination, 3rd time lucky hopefully! Our first 2 attempts were with a different donor and this 3rd time was with someone who has definately got a very high sperm count.. so hopefully!! Is anyone else waiting to test at the moment??

    Hello,

We've been a little bit lurky on here during the last 2 weeks which was our 2ww and we thought maybe now we should actually write something and introduce ourselves. We've read literally 100s of posts and they've all just been soooo helpful so straight up we just wanted to say thanks.

Also we maybe wanted to spread a little hope because we just got our on DPO16 after an IUI and pregnyl injections . We went through a clinic in Sydney who have been totally fantastic!

Anyway it's early days but HCG levels all looking good.
Sending HEAPS of to everyone who's going through the tough 2ww.

Thanks, it's all so exciting, difficult to believe but exciting!

We've got another blood test on Tuesday just to check HCG levels are going up as they should and a scan in 2 weeks so hopefully all is good.

We used an unknown donor through Fertility First in Hurstville (Sydney), the staff there are all great and really knew what they were doing and it doesn't feel clinic-y at all which made the whole process really relaxed and calm.

Just in case anyone's interested (I know it helped us heaps) the main symptoms now looking back were a tiny bit of spotting at dpo6, funny tugging feeling like very mild af cramp from dpo8, sore bbs, especially near armpit, raised bbts (although we really weren't quite sure what we were doing) and hot flushes towards the end of the 2 weeks. There were others but we're pretty sure they were a result of the 3 follow up injections of pregnyl.

    to everyone who's waiting

Congratulations KaznHols!!! What fantastic news!!! I hope yesterday's BT went well. Not long now until your scan.... Nothing like seeing that little blob's heart beating away in there!!!

I wish you all the very best for a H&H 9 months. I'll be seeing you around the Preg threads!
