I'm not talking from personal experience (yet) but have done plenty of research plus have lots of friends' advice.
We also have a donor from interstate so we know how much organisation you need to do to get one insemination done. We are using forelife OPK's and its very sensitive and shows up the day before surge, day of surge and we can see it decreasing on day of ovulation so, like drgirl has said, we will be getting our donor up here the day before my surge, the day of surge and day of ovulation and inseminate on all three days. I see you are using a FS to calculate your ovulation so perhaps the previous two days of ovulation and also the day of ovulation to inseminate could be an idea. Also, if you are not already doing so, to use a 5 ml syringe to inseminate as the larger ones do not have enough pressure and the opening is large enough not to damage any spermies on the way through. We are also using what you call an instead softcup. It is a cap which fits over the cervix and keeps the spermies where they are sposed to go. You can take it out 1 to 2 hrs later. I found the company online and sent them an email asking to sample their product and they sent me a pack of 2 for free so was happy with that. Have heard lots of successful stories with couples who couldn't get pregnant then used this product and whammo! Oh yeah and its great to orgasm as the insemination is taking place so the cervix sucks up all the swimmers and then lay with a pillow to elevate your hips for 1/2 hr. I think thats about it. You are probably doing most of what I've said already but I hope it helps you out a little. We have got as much info as we could before we start. I really hope you get a with this go goodluck!
PS the cup that the sample goes into should clean and dry, any water kills the swimmers off. Got my fingers and toes crossed for you!
