Thank you again to all who sent their coingratulations and kept their fingers crossed for us over the last few months. Apologies for disappearing for a while, the combination of lots of "morning" (ha) sickness with daily vimoting and constant nausea and tiredness with my anxiously driven doubt that this baby was going to keep growing has stopped me from being active on this site but I have been scanning posts. Anyhow, we have made it to 20 weeks, had our morphology scan yesterday and have a very healthy looking and extremely active little one going well. I managed to resist the temptation to find out the gender much to DP's pleasure and surpsise as she felt very strongly about not knowing until the birth day. So now that I'm believing that we may actually end up with a baby in our arms and feeling a little better hopefully I'll be posting a bit more, girldoc

DG72,Hon. i know how you feel re the anxiety
I think its pretty normal to be like this. I know I was and my friends did and we didnt even have to do much to get pregnant (other than the obvious)
To me, its like, "surely I cant be so lucky as to be pregnant with a healthy bubba"
When you read about what some other people go through, you realise that it really is a game of chance.
Just remember that the odd ARE stacked in your favour
As great as this place is, sometimes there is such a thing as having too much info.
So welcome back, and relax. The odds are on your side.
    Congrats
    xxxx
