Hi there Leanne and kitty kat
Soo excited that you guys are getting ready to conceive!
Leanne, go with your gut and even if your Sydney donor is a bit harder to get to, if he feels right then you sound like you will be better off with him. Things happen for a reason, one of our original 'potential' donors made things so easy for us originally that we were absolutely going to use him, but both of us kept finding reasons to put it off because in our hearts we didn't think he was the right one. As it turns out now, totally the right decision, as he is not so easy to get along with as we originally thought!
I need to read your blog, I think, to keep up with what's going on with your TTC journey!
We have pretty much settled on Ella Bea for a girl and Charlie Kurtis for a boy, but it remains flexible until squishy makes his/her appearance.....

Aww SALLY2 Ella Bea is a gorgeous name and I love Charlie for a boy, very cute little mans name! I like boys names for girls like Dylan. Selena loves Ezekiel for a boy and I also love that too as well as Elijah, biblical names are lovely I think. I love and will probably stick with Keina Jade for a girl. Keina is aboriginal for moon and we think its gorgeous.

KITTYKAT Lily is beautiful. We had some twins at work born last week named lily and amber, just so happens amber had the amber coloured hair and lily blonde, mum and dad didnt realise til they took off their little hats. I thought that was just cute.

I wrote this in my blog too but today I bought a few singlets and jumpsuits on special, we already discussed collecting a few things here and there when we see something worth getting in preparation but today I just had to do it. We are making up a 'baby box'. Just dont wana go silly and buy too much before we even conceive!! Do you think that sounds silly or we are tempting fate? Oh well, it feels good and they are just adorable!

    Talk to you later girls,

    Leanne

    Hi Leanne!
Well if you buying a few jumpsuits and singlets is tempting fate then I am never ever going to get pregnant because I have already bought heaps more than that! I can't help myself...... I'm obsessed! As someone else on these forums said "if you build it the baby will come!" which I think is a really sweet thing to say, so I'm going with that! hehe

I like the name Amber and I love the name Elijah too. I know a beautiful boy with that name! I love names like Dylan for girls names too!

    See you
    Jess

I don't think you can go over board buying while TTC. I took DH and I four years and I realised the other day that I was putting a body suit on DS that I bought 3 years ago, long before he was a blip on our fertility radar. It just made me really appreciate he was here even more because I remember what it felt like looking at the suit when I bought it and imagining my child in it. I agree with Jess that if you buy it the baby will come, .

Thanks ladies, that sounds like good advice to me. If you believe something will happen enough, it just comes into your life so it should be the same with our future baby!
