Leg waxing at home - best product?

In an attempt to curb spending (and given the difficulty of getting to my beautician with a toddler and a newborn) I'm thinking of starting to wax my legs myself.
Can anyone recommend a good at-home product?
I recall seeing one advertised on tv lately that looked pretty good and had wax cartridge type things that it used - I think it was one you plug in so would be a warm wax? Can't remember the name though.

I have tried all the microwaveable waxes you get in the supermarket ie. nads, veet, nair and find them all effective. However I find the time required to wax at home is longer so prefer a professional wax now that it is easier to get out. But wirh 2 littlies, DIY should work for you. I got a tub of veet gel wax for $6 in our local crazy Clarks. I thought it would be hopeless for $6 but is really good.

$6 is good. I found nads good for eyebrows, but legs- I can't inflict that kinda pain on myself
    Best of luck

I brought the plug in one with the replaceable cartridges & hated it! The wax wouldn't go on to my skin properly & in the end I contacted the company & sent it back for full refund.
I have used the (I think veet) strips before that you warm by rubbing your hands together & found them easy to use while sitting in front of the tv

Ok so woolies has the Nair ones on sale so I've ordered two different types of strip wax for about $7 a packet. Home delivery is tomorrow so might give them a go in the arvo. Ha what an exciting life I lead...

I've used the veet strips before and they worked fine. Only problem was that I put the used strips next to me then our long haired cat came and sat next to me too :/
