    I would probably go with giving her more fruit opposed to honey, maybe a bunch of grapes? After all fruit is meant to be good for you lol. I am pretty sure they would have breath tests for kids available in Vic, if we have it here in SA LOL.

    Ashton is also fine with wheat, can eat breads and cereals. He has 3 weetbix each morning.

    Hey Salad, glad you are getting some traction on this one.

    I have a thought that might help you - my mum has a cookbook called "Food for Fussy Kids" or something, anyway it has a recipe in it which is called "Iron Booster Balls", it is for kids who are low in iron or don't eat a lot of red meat.

    Anyway it is made up of some dried fruits stuck together with something (lol can't remember what) and then rolled into little balls and covered with coconut.

    Just struck me that if you made some of them it might help your DD's iron increase while also giving her a good hit of fructose??? I can send you the recipe if you want to give it a go... looks pretty easy... let me know xx
