I have worked in the fitness industry and I think everyones bodies react differently to different types of exercise. I know that I gain fitness by regularly walking but I need to do more than that to lose weight.
I think its a great article. It's showing that you don't need to fork out mega-$$$ for a gym membership to get fit. And it's really saying that to lose weight you need to up the intensity - however is up to you.
If this encourages people to go for a walk every day, then I think that's doing a lot!
