Awwww poo! my first symptom of getting old.

I need glasses LOL. Since I have started uni I've been getting splitting headaches after too long reading or working on the computer so I went and had my eyes checked today and I can't see jack **** ROFL. Out of my left eye anyway, right eye is fine. The official diagnosis is astigmatism with a bit of long sightedness thrown in as well. The really ironic thing is that all these years I have been jokingly blaming DS1's severe long sightedness on DH's side of the family because apart from DH they all have terrible vision LOL but it was more than likely passed on from me! So I picked out some funky versace frames seeing as how the PHI will cough up most of it and I get them next week

They are! they are a metal/resin combination with metallic blue on the outside and lime green on the inside so when you turn your head, anyone looking at you can see a flash of green.

hhmmm you see i had glasses from the time i was 10 months old....so that must make me waaaaayyyy older LOL!

that's amazing that you didnt pick up on the stigmatism earlier...one of my first real clues growing up was being forced to play tennis in phys ed classes and realising that i had NO depth perception (making hitting the darn ball nigh on impossible lol).

have to say those specs do sound loverleee though!

Well sounds like you're going to be one Sex-ay old thaing then!!

BTW I can't see jack **** either - am putting off going to the optometrists because like you, grey hairs & in my case dental work in combination with my enforced beige bra regime is absolutely morally crushing. Got to ration out the signs of ageing, gradually IMO

    MD - PMSL!!

Trill, I've had my glasses for quite some time now and also the hair dye thing. Those glasses sound pretty funky, I might need to reasses my frames!

I hear you hun. I am borderline for needing reading glasses but so far it's not causing me problems so I'm resisting. If only it were my first sign of being old though......

I bet you'll look great with glasses.

If anyone is interested in what they will look for, go to the OPSM website and click COLLECTIONS then enter 279387003 and it will bring them up. Versus is a brand of versace.
