I have a boob job, although i got mine before having kiddies ive had mine for about 3 years now and absolutly love them well worth the money that i spent.
Of course im no doctor here but going on personal opinion i would certainly wait untill you are at a happy and constant weight - massive weight gain and loss after could possibly make them 'sag' so to speak. Mine have gone a little flabby from the weight gain/loss whilst i was pregnant.
I myself am a 400cc which is about a large D sometimes DD on my body frame. As for the implants ontop of the muscle my opinion would be to ask about implants under the muscle, under the muscle gives a more natural look and will generally fall into the shape of a tear drop with no bra on. But again as i said im no doctor and im sure your dr has given you the ontop of muscle for a reason.
All i can say is you are extremly lucky to of found one that cheap Mine were about $14 000 including medications. You will also have to think about time you will be out of action the 1st week is very painful you will be bruised and bandaged for a couple of days. As for bra's etc. At about 1-2 weeks you will need to go back and see the surgeon he will then fit you with a special sports bra (not attractive at all) and you will wear that for a few weeks. After your dr is happy will your recovery he will then fit you and your on your way to buying new bras!!! YAY.
I havent had any back problems so i cant tell you much about that
Good luck with your decision. Do whats best for you! I love mine!!!
yay exciting for you! And the cost seems quite cheap!
I always thought it was better to get the implant under the muscle??? But I'm no expert....
I want a tummy tuck and a boob 'lift' myself. I get what you mean about the cup size being made up of skin rather then boob - I'm just lucky??? that even under the skin the size is still there - I may not be a G cup anymore, but I'm still and E cup.
Please let us know how it all goes, I am very surious.
aw that MR !!! i know i should be happy but . i will feel more in proportion when i get them .
i thought $8900 was so cheap too .. so i asked for a quote on lipo too ... BUT that was $14 000 :0
DR wont put the implants under the muscle as these are cohesive gel , meaning they are silcone but they are not liquid ... so they feel a bit like soft lolly ... kinda like a marshmallow ... its squsihy but if you cut it in half its solid kwim ???
he wont do it as there is aldready enough "sag" lol ... he said i would be even worse if tear drop shapes were used ..
i dont plan on putting on weight .. i think i look alright at the moment , currently im a 8/10 top and 10 bottom so i guess thats not too bad . i just want cleavage instead of ribs showing !!
I was 49kgs, 169cm tall (*sigh* Pre Baby Body!) and got 460cc's, cohesive gel, under the muscle, in August 2007 in Brisbane with a surgeon who has his own practice, paid $6000 and LOVE THEM! Seriously, I am over the moon with them! I was a 10B and am now a 10D-DD... Obviously there's LOTS of info to take in but if you have any specific questions, fire away!
You won't be getting yourself into any new bras while you're still swollen, you ahve to wear a post op bra for a little while and then can move onto sports bras, but once your surgeon gives you the all clear, it's sexy shopping time!!!
Oh and yes I did end up with a bit of back pain that I never had Pre Fakies... Bound to happen when you go against what's "natural" for your body I suppose?
Good luck hun! And once again, if you have any questions, shoot, nothing is off limits xx
I'm so interested in getting a boob job too. I'm lucky to fill a 10a cup. It is just so depressing. DH said we can save up for them if that is what I really want. So I have always wanted to know what your partner thinks of the feel of them? How do they feel? Also where does your nipple sit now? I've seen some terrible boob job photos where the nipple sit near the top of the breast and kinda points at the chin if that makes sense.
What kind of recovery time should we plan for? How long are you in pain for you? Do you always have to wear a bra or can you be free once they have all settled down?
