Need some idea's on how to get through my cravings
So, its been just over a week since I had my last ciggie. I have been pretty good with my moods, havent really felt any urges to smoke. TBH, Ive been relaxed & calm about it.
Until now. I have eaten like a freakin HORSE! For dinner I had 2 pizza pockets, then a frozen yogurt, 4 pieces of garlic bread. for lunch I had an apple & a small bowl of ice cream ya, so NOT healthy, but didnt feel too hungry
I JUST WANT TO EAT Being 93 kg's I dont want to eat anymore crap! I can't afford to put on anymore weight!
I do want a smoke right now.
Please help me out with some idea's on what to do to curb the craving. I am afraid of having a quick puff for fear of enjoying it too much
I used to have a glass of water when I had a craving.
It gave me something to do to distract myself and actually being able to taste to water properly was a reminder of the benefits of quitting. Also it's not fattening like having a snack or sweet drink.
I used to pee a lot!
Firstly, congrats on giving up smoking, that's a really big achievement!
I have been smoke free for 9 months now. Chewing chewies was my thing. I started with the nicotine chewies and then gradually replaced them with normal ones.
Thanks Jaycee Im doing that too. i dont carry smokes with me if i go out or to work, then i dont get tempted.
I get a little tempted after dinner tho - I loved having an after dinner smoke I've head OJ is good for when your trying to quit? Something to do with soaking up the nicotine or something like that, cant remember the exact story about it, but yeh.
