You can get the really strong throat lozenges with a local anaesthetic. They are great for the very sore throat, but way to strong to take for mildly sore one. They may help get you through tomorrow night.

I might have to head to a chemist tomorrow and explain my situation. Friggin throat, costing me money! I hope I get better tonight and don't have to worry about it!

The anesthetic ones will wreck my voice, but I think I will grab some as a last resort.

hot lemon and honey...may not work, but it does give you warm and fuzzies...

i too would go for the lozenges with the anaesthetic stuff if the honey doesnt do the trick...

Go to the health shop and ask for Zinc Fix. It is a orange flavored powder that you can gurgle for your sore throat.
