    one thing that helped me when i was little was having the window down. aircon is bad... fresh air good. and stop for little breaks every hour to ease the trip for 5 min.

    This sounds so stupid, but it works:

    A bandaid over the belly button. It has to make an airtight seal, so the bandaid sort of gets sucked in a little bit. Sounds liek a placebo, but it really works. I have done a lot of road trips with this method!

    em - very interesting, I shall buy some fruit tingles then.

    I bought the Kwells chewable tablets today, hopefully they do the trick

    I used to suck on barley sugar. I used to have real bad car sickness as a child. And mum always made sure that my window was down slightly.
