July 2007 for me, when we started our IVF cycle. Before that it was May 2005, so I went 2 yrs 2 months in between, so not bad.
I've had a pap smear in the last two years or earlier
I haven't had a pap smear for 2 years - due now
I haven't had a pap smear for the last 2-3 years
I haven't had a pap smear for 3 years or more
I can't remember but it's been a long time
Okay ladies, we all know it's important but something we often put off. Make sure that if you haven't had a pap smear in the last two years, you book in a date NOW! Of the BellyBelly members here today, when is the last time you had a pap smear?
Don't forget to ask for thin prep too, the more accurate test.

probably about Jan 2005, I had one right before we started TTC.
Thanks for the reminder!
I got a reminder while pg to Charlie, went in when Charlie was 4 months old and was told I couldn't get one in the first 6 months of BF, so I went in when he was 15 months old and got it done!
My MIL never lets me forget. If not for her yearly mammograms, she would never have found out she had breast cancer. So she's really believes early detection saves lives.
At my six week check up after DS was born - so its only been a year. Pity can't have one now.. pregnant.. hehe![]()
I just had one about 2 mths ago. Before I was pregnant with Izzy I hadn't had one for 7 years *slaps wrist hard* and when I finally did go I had stage 2 and 3 abnormal cells and had to have a biopsy and heat treatment for it and now I have to have very frequent, regular pap smears. Please ladies if you are overdue - go pick up the phone right now and book in. I will never let myself go so far over with appointments because it was really scary and not pleasant having the treatment.
i too have had abnormal results so go every 2 years on the dot!! my dr sends out reminders, so if your doesnt ask them too!!
Mine was a pre IVF one too...
Had one in Masrch last year before the fertility treatment so less than a year.
SHEL on the other hand has NEVER had one, and every time I bring it up she finds a way to get out of it. I should just make her an appointment and not tell her!!!!
I was due for one in April last year, but because I was hoping to be pg by then I had one in September 06. It worked out really well because Alister was born in September so its an easy reminder. I am due for another one this year.
Mine was while visiting the GP while asking why we hadn't conceived yet.
It was my 2nd one in my lifetime
nic
I go every 6 months....
had mine done at 6 week check up after Jack bugger that means I am due again this year
I go to my RE as well he isthe only dr I have ever not had major pain afterwards from it
I get mine done around DD's even numbered birthday. Bit annoyed though I had one at the 6 week checkup after she was born, but it was never tested. At my last smear they could not find the previous results ( different Dr at clinic than normal). Think it must have been missed due to all the other stuff that gets discussed at the 6 week checkup, so next time I might keep it separate.
I asked my Dr about the thin prep and he wasn't that happy with it compared the usual method, but I just cannot remember why.
i had my first one at our 6 week check up.
i will just time mine with every second birthday!
I had my last in May 06, but before that id not had one in 7 years.
Its something i avoid soooo much...but DH said i had to go and made some not so nice comments so i done it for his sake in the end.
So i guess i need one in a few months![]()
I had one at my 6 week checkup with my Ob. I then got 2 or 3 reminders from my GP to come in which I ignored thinking I'd already had one, finally they rang to get an appointment saying the Ob smear wasn't clear so had one again about January last year at GP. Never said anything about not doing it because of bf'ing - I still couldn't have one now if that was the case!
I do mine every second January- due for my next one next year. I hate them so much!!
