Yesterday DS15 came home from school and told me he dislocated his knee and a teacher popped it back into place. I'm a bit confused because at the time it happened DS was sitting down and it happened as he stood up, I just thought a dislocation would occur during some sort of physical activity. DS said you could see something was out of place behind his knee and when it popped back in he heard a loud click and the teacher felt the bone go back into place, so it does sound like a dislocation. Can anyone shed some light on this for me please, tia.
