    Bloods should all be covered by Medicare. It's a good idea to have a full check up every now and then. If I remember right, low iron can cause tiredness and bruising.

    Usually if you tell the GP you want a general check up they will do bloods. Based on what you've said I would make sure they're checking thyroid, vitamin D, cholesterol, iron, along with other things like liver function etc. These will probably all be standard, but make sure you ask for the thyroid and vitamin D because they can be big factors in lack or energy. HTH
