yeah I was reading up about numbness.....all manufacturers of the cross trainers are aware of it, and even know why it happens, but are struggling to apply it to the cross trainers designs.
They think it is because of a few things......the foot pedals being flat (newer models are coming out with inclined pedals) and also the fact the feet are a little further apart than is ideal, and this is the design problem they are having. The problem is more prone in women, mainly because they arent as big/tall as men in general, so their natural positioning of the feet is narrower.
Some manufacturers have started making the pedals angle in towards the centre and this is helping.

the Infiniti is a good buy at the moment at the local sports store, and we have an Infiniti treadmill, and when we bought that , the store believed the quality of Infiniti products put them up very high in the reputation stakes. We have had it almost 5 years and still goes well, though it hasnt been used that much![]()
