Good work on still getting out there and doing something ladies .

How are the feet feeling now Winter! Ouchies indeed! Good thing you can do Balance without your shoes on .

MG - yes, this is the 3rd day above 40 and I decided in my wisdom to 'tone it down' and I just did Body Pump this afternoon. The heat has warmed up the house now - and we're in for another stinker tomorrow too. It won't stop me exercising though!

I'm sorry Leesa, but I'd have to go with CQ. I tried Fat Attack (well, that's what I call it!) and it was fun but a bit too 80s aerobics for me. I felt like I should have been wearing one of those g-string up the bum leotards and leg warmers! Oh and I felt like vomiting most of the time! (Which is why it works, I guess)

Lees - great idea! We should start a BootCamp!

ETA - Winter PMSL...dindn't you like "Iceskatering" and "Supermanning" accross the stage lol! only kidding. I KNOW that Attack is the hardest class by miles! And after Pump it is next on my instructor list

Awww, no one wants Attack . There are always low impact options ;-).

They're all yours to Combat CQ .

    No excuses Boomba .

I've had people weigh 120kgs do my Attack class. They started with the low impact options, did what they could and kept at it .

    Maybe this might help....

Don’t give yourself time to think; over-thinking about exercise saps motivation. If you have scheduled exercise for 5.30 pm and you find yourself thinking about it during the day, then make yourself think about something else. At 5.30, just do it. Paralysis through analysis is not the way to exercise motivation. It’s like getting out of bed; the more you think about it, the more time you spend in bed. Just do it. There are times when it’s best not to think.

Emil Zátopek, one of the greatest middle- and long-distance runners in history, once said: “If one can stick to the training throughout the many long years, then willpower is no longer a problem. It’s raining? That doesn’t matter. I am tired? That’s beside the point. It’s simply that I just have to.”

Tell yourself your upcoming session is “non-negotiable”. Are you one of life’s contenders or not?

But if you can’t help yourself and you do start thinking about not doing it, then consider my next tip…
