Hi guys I am here! Just been flat out really and feeling a bit blah....

I did Attack for the first time in six months this eve (since my stress fracture) and it was great! I have a little ache around the neck of my femur but more than likely it's just the muscles that dont get used in Combat.

So overall things are good! And Pump training in a week WOOHOOO!!!!

    Sorry no personals tonight!

CQ! Well done on the class! How are you feeling today?

    Nettie How are you doing?

Winter? How r u going as well hon?

    Leckert - how was work?

Leesa - how r u travelling me dear?

    How is everyone going?

I had PT today. All day I was thinking of cancelling. I really didn't want to go. But every time I thought of cancelling, I'd feel guilt. Needless to say, I didn't cancel. I was dead tired after just 4 hours sleep last night and a flat out day at work... and then I walked to my car after work and suddenly got very nauseated. The whole way to PT I was struggling not to be sick! But I got there, walked in, paid, and got on a treadmill. D, knowing me far too well, took one look at me and got me outside. He said he could tell I wasn't feeling well... and yet he still pushed me bloody hard! I had to stop several times to stop from throwing up. Which he thought was HILARIOUS. Evil Boy! I told him he'd wear it! BUT, considering how poorly I was feeling, we had a great session. It was still enjoyable and he said my boxing was heaps better... I wasn't punching like a girl apparently! Haha - all had to do with my music choice Anyways, it was a good session - more like what I enjoy and I told him so. I told him he had to work me that hard every session. We will see if he does! LOL. My arms are jelly tonight and my tummy hurts (could be the dodge lunch). I'm going to feel it tomorrow! I told him if I can't move my arms tomorrow he has to come with me to Canberra this weekend and carry my luggage! ROFL The only down side is he'd stop me doing all the norty things I want to do whilst I'm there! LOL

    Well done for going MG!

I piked today. I was getting ready to go this morning and I was feeling really sore & itchy under my boobs and I checked them out and I have big red welts from my bra rubbing. Its so hard to buy a sports bra when I'm still bf as my size changes! I'm going to let them heal and get back into it Monday. I need to find a good soft sports bra but I don't find they offer the same support.

Anyway, hope everyone has a great w'end!!

what i do usually is wear a soft sports bra and then one of those workout shirts over the top that has a built in crop top type thing. having said that, i havent attempted anything like body attack in it!

MG - thanks for the cheer! Not doing too much - did the walk the other morning and DH & I played with DS kicking around the soccer ball last night (running, etc) which was fun. Walk was really good and I'll be looking to do it some more next week.

Liz - yay for the offer. I hope you can get a contract though!

Winter - I've had the bra rub thing too.. ouchies.

Leesa - you sound SOOO busy!

CQueen - Hope you recovered from Combat ok!

    Morning all,

School was good - lots of info and I feel like I'm at least a day behind everyone in the prep discovered that I'm teaching English & SOSE (society & envionment). Still no written contract but I did find that another school was keen on getting me (I prefer current school though).

Anyway to make it on topic - still waking up and will get on the Wii later today (last night went out for 10th wedding anniversary and Blake decided he wasn't super keen on what I ate as he kept waking up trying to fart and feed so not much sleep)

ETA not getting to wii today too tired and Blake's not been co-operative (45min sleeper and been fighting going to sleep today even though he's sooo tired. I did get a catnap but it wasn't enough) and currently having to tape the 20twenty cricket game for DH which he's at and wii goes through the video so .... and we also have someone crashing here after they attend a party in the next suburb and I'm not sure if their son is coming too and don't know when they're getting here so can't quite go to bed until DH gets home but might any way in a moment or two)

    Hi All,

Was supposed to do Combat on Wednesday night. Had a really busy day and had a headache so I didn't go. I am finding the excerise at nights quite tough to keep up, especially while School Holiday's are on. Doing so much during the day don't have enough in me to keep going and really enjoy a wine around 5pm!
My DH also excersises at night as he doesn't get a chance in the mornings and the weekends he dedicates to the kids..usually goes on a run on Sunday's and Oscar rides his bike, Tess and Ben in the Jogger. He is going to do the Run 4 the Kids in March.

I will do pump on Monday morning as DH is home, not keen on pump with all the putting on and off of weights but gym has a Holiday Program on until school goes back so I would normally do spin but it's not on till school goes back.

I have a good plan for when Oscar goes back to school in 1 week....so will go on Tues and Thurs for a class hopefully combat and spin and perhaps a Sunday to do just bike and treadmill for 45min or so. May throw in some weights too on the Sunday.
I might even do more, just see how I go.

Winter: I squeeze myself into my pre pregnancy sports bra. I have a girlfriend who is quite big chested and she has been pro fitted for a freya from sports bra and also wears one of the crops tops as well for extra support. Perhaps go to a specialist bra shop and see what they reccommend. Or even Rebel may have something quite supportive that has no underwire.

    Happy Work outs everyone

I saw some Freya sports bras online last night Miss Heather - I really liked the look of them. Will have to find a stockist in Perth. Thanks for the tip, I'm glad your friend finds them comfy. I hate buying bras so happy to go off recommendations

someone kill me. Please. I won't tell. Promise.

I hurt. A LOT! I tossed and turned all night with restless legs and sore arms. Surprisingly, when I woke I felt fine. Went to the hairdresser to get my chop and colour (side note... it is VERY different!!!!!!!!!! Not sure I like it yet...) then did my grocery shop... now I feel like crap! My arms are jello. And I am so so tired! 4 nights with next to no sleep is NOT good. I can't get over how weak my arms are though. I just messaged D to tell him to pack a bag, he's coming to Canberra! I was planning on a treadmill session tonight but will see how I feel a little later... I think an early bed might be in order.

MG: That will be me later on I think

Winter: How did the bra shopping go...always worth investing a good sports bra to protect the girls!

Well I did it!! I did Body Attack this morning and MAN was it hard! I loved it and will do it again and again I was pretty uncordinated but I was at Combat too, will just take me a while to get into the swing of the moves. My DH took all three kids on his run while I did the class..think we will make this a regular Sunday Morn thing
I like that and Body Combat and will keep up with the odd spin/RPM depending on time table.
I am going to have invest in a good head/hair band thing to keep my hair back as it is too short to put up but long enough to be a pain.

Have just got back from 7yr old Birthday Party and now on way to a BBQ with family.

    Have fun

    hi all,
i did pump again yesterday. lunges still hurt my knees and cramped my calves! it looks right when i am doing it. (thanks for the description). i felt like i was doing them properly when i didnt have any bar across my back and was just doing them off the step quickly, so lunge up, down, up down (know what i mean) but when it was slowed down to 2 down or 3 down then it hurt again. wahts up with that?

oh, i was thinking about doing step today too, but i am pretty sore. so should i give my body a day rest?

Tis a bit hard to make sure you've got the lunge downpat via BB , maybe before the next class ask the instructor to watch you (b4 the class starts) and tell her where and when you feel the pain. It may be you have some minor injury to the knee causing the pain and you may need referring to a physio perhaps (crossing fingers that is not the case though!!!)

    Hey guys!

Hollo - agree with Leesa it's so hard to explain without seeing you, definitely ask your instructor it's what they;re there for and they should be nice and aproachable!

I'm slowing down this week in preperation for Pump training starting this weekend even forced myself to go into Lorna Jane and buy myself some new shorts with red in them

I'm ridiculously sore at the moment, went Wakeboarding on the weekend and then taught Sunday night - wasn't too bad then woke up Mon morn stiff as a board all through my neck and my Traps! SO I went to a class in the morning hoping it would loosen things up but no such luck. Taight last night and finally broke through it and today I feel great!

Which is good because i'll be doing a LOT of exercise today...will be exercising my mouth by talking and eating and my arms by bringing the beer up from the table to my mouth (maybe a bit of swimming in there somewhere!).

Have a great day everyone - be safe!

been a bit quiet on the exercise front!

We went for a walk last night and I conciously (sp?) pushed myself instead of dawdling - but ended up with very sore feet last night

Keep going guys - you're inspiring me!

well done on pushing yourself Nettie!

How is everyone doing?! Heather? Winter?

Sorry I've been MIA. Been in Canberra. My plan whilst away was to hit the gym each morning... but DH got sick the night before I left so had to take DD with me... which dramatically changed my plans!!!! I didn't get any proper exercise in whilst I was away. I have missed my treadmill! So I came home today and, as tired as I was, hit the treadmill. I had to stop after 15 minutes because I was just soooooo tired... but I got back on. I did a total of 30 minutes but it wasn't my finest effort. I was just too fatigued! But I will give it another shot tomorrow.

    Happy Australia Day everyone!

    Hi All,

I did body attack again this morning. I am really enjoying body attack, a little self conscious as I am not familiar with the moves. Next week he is doing a whole new routine so it will be a level playing field and I wont be the only one looking un-co

Next week I am back into the swing of things. DS1 will back at school and DS2 has creche Tues and Wed. So will book DD in the gym creche for Wednesday and do Combat or Spin. Combat on at 9:30 and Spin 10:40, just trying to work around DD feeds so most likely Combat.

My plan is for Attack on Sunday's and Something on Tues and maybe Thurs, will just wing it for now and see how I travel. I am liking Attack so much I may just go between that and Combat????

Hey Nettie: What sort of walking shoes do you have? Since I got pro-fitted at Athletes foot my feet feel soo much better. I admit they were expensive, but I hadn't bought new sneakers in 15yrs so I get my money's worth out of them

Leesa: My DH loves excersise and loves it when I excersise so I can reap the benefits as well..so no little white lies here .
He is actually training for the Run 4 Kids that is going to be on in March sometime. It's a run for raising money for the Royal Children's Hosp here in Melbourne.

Enjoy everyone..whatever it is you are doing!

    Hi everyone!

So, I've decided that, even if I can't lose weight (PCOS), I just feel yucky and flabby, so I wanna get into exercise. I can't afford the gym, and TBH I never could get into it, I'm close to 140kgs and I just feel embarrassed the whole time I'm there.

So anyway, I've got a Latin DanceFit DVD, as well as Wii Trainer, so I figure they can't hurt

So, can I still join in if I'm not in a gym class?
