DVDs sounds like a good idea. I might give the wiggles a try!
Is the Wii fit any good? It is expensive, is the cost justified?
I am currently on a weightloss journey and was struggling to find motivation when I started. My DH also works long hours and I won't go out walking on my own after dark. But I have a treadmill (which I got 2 Christmas' ago) and I now jump on the treadmill every night after DD has gone to bed (so about 730-8pm) for anywhere between 30 and 60 minutes. It was a struggle at first but it is now part of my routine.
To keep your motivation, set yourself small goals and celebrate each one.
HTH and good luck!

I struggle too....
We recently bought a Wii and I borrow a Fit board. Although I love it, I didn't use it! Jake is 14 months and it was impossible to do when he was awake cos he'd climb on the board. Then when he was in bed I had a million things to do and then when he was in bed at night I just wanted to watch tv, not watch Wii!pathetic but there you go...
I run 3x a week (evenings when DH is here or early morning before anyone else is up, and on Sunday when DH can look after DD, though actually i have a babyjogger pram and have run about 300miles pushing it - where i live ATM is too hilly to push her most of the time but we're moving again soon...) and row 3x a week on a rowing machine. I also have freeweights i can do some lifting of when i'm in the mood, usually after DD is in bed.
