gall bladder questions

Wow Breeze and Marydean... I have been 'allergic' to codeine and morphine ever since I got my gallbladder removed. I can not touch codeine at all... even the thought of it makes me want to cry. I wonder what causes the issues? I get the gallbladder like pains as well as the vomitting.
I once had the same gallbladder pains after drinking 2 glasses of Absolute vodka a few years back which totally turned me off drinking altogether

Melissamiller - I have had those same issues since having my gallbladder removed... it is a little more controlled now and the Dr told me it is IBS. I never had any problems before having my GB removed though. I find that if I eat too much greasy food (like battered fish & chips) or too much dairy I end up like this.
