You poor thing, the surgery is minor but you will be sore and tender for a couple of days (well i was), my DP only had the 1 day off work for the day i came home then i was back to being on my own with a 6mth old who couldn't decide if she wanted her mummy back or the bottle

I agree with MD it gets easier every day, if you can get help from your mum even for the 2nd or 3rd day you should be fine but everyone is different.
