Hey ladies!
Here's where I'm at. I did a work-out DVD every day since 20 weeks pregnant. I was never an exerciser, but this was such a great thing for me! I loved it. But I'm kind of feeling stuck now. I know my baby is only 2 months old, but the pounds just ARE NOT budging! I was about 20lb overweight before, and I gained 35lb through my pregnancy. I lost 17lb in the first week, and not an ounce since then, despite doing stretching and toning exercises (designed for post-natal fitness, and done in gradual increments) every day since 2 weeks post-partum, and cardio every day since 7 weeks post-partum, AND breastfeeding a very hungry little man. I don't expect all the weight to be gone now, but I would love to see a little progress!
I'm eating well, I think - whole grain bread, almonds, veggies, apples, water, herbal tea, and yes, some coffee with a bit of cream and 1 tsp. sugar. I'm not ready to give that up! And I hate artificial sweeteners.
So I'm looking to bump things up a bit. I really want to get rid of this disgusting, flabby belly. It's never going to be beautiful - I've got more stretchies than anyone I know, but at least it can be smaller!
I was looking at the 30 day shred DVD, and it looks promising. What do you think? Anyone done it? Do you have any other suggestions?
