That doesn't sound good babe! I think you need to get that looked at. Have you tired a hot pack on it?
So after carrying my son around and bfing I noticed pain around my neck. I went to an Osteo who I have only seen once before.
He clicked my back in two places once which hurt and I kinda went oops that hurt
Well two days later I still have a bulge between my shoulder blades at the base of my neck.
My friend came over today and said wow you are massively out!
I've had trouble sleeping since going to the Osteo and a tingling feeling down my spine and s few dizzy moments as well as visual disturbances
It hurts to lye, sit, stand, move my arms, neck and I don't know what to do.
I just want to cry I am in so much pain!

What did the osteo say or do when you said that it hurt? It should never hurt when they do that.
You need to get it looked at, preferably by someone else!, as tingling sensations are not a good sign.
My physio recommended that I try and ensure I maintain good posture whilst feeding as this was contributing to my back and neck pain, or to use pillows to support bubs weight.
Hope it gets better soon![]()
Yep had a hot pack on for two days and even tried an ice pack. I now have pins and needles in my right leg. Such an odd feeling.
I'm scared I'll wake up paralyzed!
There feels like a ledge at the base of my neck.
I think I need another good click the other way.
I guess with my anxiety I might be working myself up a little!

Yes I know it shouldn't hurt when they do that that's why I'm now a little worried. He just said was that ok? When I got up I said it was still hurting and he just replied it will for a few days.
Can I ask do you think I will be ok till tomorrow. I'm trying to get into s chryo as it feels really out

try and relax hun, I know easier said than done though.
Is it possible to get in to see someone tomorrow? You do need it seen to asap. Treatments should never leave you in that sort of pain, especially a few days after.
Sorry we posted at the same time!
My physio has always told me with treatment (I'm assuming it should be similar with osteo's) that treatment is okay to 'hurt' when it is being done as long as the pain stops when they stop i.e if they stop applying pressure the pain relieves. I can be tender maybe for 24hrs but that is usually when he does a LOT of manipulation, two clicks shouldn't cause that much pain.
You should be okay til tomorrow, plus it is too late for anything to be done now unfortunately, but please make sure you see someone. Although, depending on how sore you are they may find it difficult to treat you without inflicting more pain, albeit unintentional
I would reccomend a Physio as opposed to a Chiro dahl. Physio will release the muscles FIRST before they do the realignment. I would get it looked at ASAP Loula. And completely agree with what UntoldAngel says about the pain. I almost ended up in hospital from a bad 'adjustment' at one stage, I hurt so bad & for ages afterwards I couldn't help but ball my eyes out. When I went to the doctor I had extreme inflamation & he had to put me on medication for a week before I could even go back to a Physio.
If you cant go back to your Chiro, Physio or whatever....go see your GP to get something for the inflamation ASAP.
it sounds like you have trapped or hit a nerve. I don't suggest chiro (plus they need to take Xrays before they will treat you). A physio is much more gentle. I can recommend a good one in the Greensborough area. He had me walking 24 hours after I slipped a third disc in my back.
You need to have a CT done. It sounds like you have a disc bulge. The best thing for it is rest and ICE. You will also most likely need anti-inflamatories such as voltaren. If it is really bad, it's probably a good idea to head to ED - especially as it is your neck. Being a Sat, I'd head in now before the Sat night mayhem starts.
Thanks for you replies. I went to the chryo who said it is very inflamed but feels is can be normal when an injury is locked in place like this.
He just did massage and two small clicks. Still not any where better but the tingling has stopped for now.
I have an appointment with my GP Monday and will get him to check it over.
I've been taking voltaron for two days now![]()
I would love recommendations to a physio in the eastern suburbs
