    How much do you drink???

Just curious how much alcohol people drink per week.

I drink 2-3 bottles of red wine per week but only get sloshed once per week usually on a friday night.
    How about everyone else?

Virtually nothing I used to binge drink every weekend before I got pg with DD1, but nowadays it's more like one or two drinks, twice a year (lol birthday and Christmas, unless I'm pregnant in which case it's soft drink!).
I just don't like going out of my way to buy something to drink (ie I can get bottles of Coke when I do my grocery shop, it's too much hassle to stop off at the bottle shop lol), and I think I'm a bit of a closet alcoholic - I find it very hard to stop at 'just one or two' and don't find alcohol to be relaxing or a way to 'wind down' after a hard day so I tend to write myself off if I get my hands on it I think it's better for me to stay away from it as much as possible hehehe!

i'd say at least once aweek we get drunk, so thats like 7 or 8 beers
i only drink beer, cant touch anything else, i love the taste of other stuff but dont like what it does to me...and i'm such a wuss when it comes to hangovers..

in saying that last few weeks i havent really had any...i find 1 or 2 doesn't even touch me so to get that relaxed feeling it needs to be 3 or 4 and after that i cant drive and that is another thing to organise...

my parents drink alot, mum would down a bottle of red every night at least, but a month ago actually stoped cold turkey to see if she could go a month without it, im so proud of her that she has actually done it, now she is just trying to make another week until her exams are over.
but because of that we have sort of slowed cause it wasnt uncommon for us to go to their place or out wit them and get drunk with them.

Nothing. LOL! Haven't touched it since pregnant with Jazz, and breastfeeding is a great excuse not to drink! I used to get drunk a lot when I was a teenager, and needed some help to stop, so I prefer not to touch it at all.

Shel doesn't drink either except for a toast on special occassions. She wrote herself off at her birthday last year, and I ripped into her. Nothing more shameful than going down in your own vomit or getting so trashed that you don't remember anything

I might have 1-2 drinks a week very occasionally, but mostly nothing.

If its a special occasion or night out maybe 2-3 drinks tops, but since having DS I'm just not interested. And I'm not BF either. I had a hard time recovering from the birth and I think my body is still telling me to stay in recovery mode IYKWIM?

hmmm come to think of it, not much these days. was quite a big drinker in my later teens and then decided to pull back a bit when we moved back to Oz.

now i reckon we maybe have a couple a drinks a week. DH usually has a couple of more beers than me as i now prefer the red wine to beer...although with the hot weather that might change LOL!

    Hmm..really Leash?

I probably have a glass of wine every night, a few on Friday or Saturday nights, watching a movie or at a BBQ or something. I probably get drunk once a month...? Mind ou hard to do because Charlotte is still feeding during the day, so only drink once she is in bed or not feeding anymore that day.

Fairly erratic with my drinking, I can go many months and not have a drop. Then I can have a few over one weekend. Just depends what is going on in life, tend to be just a social drinker.
