Since having DS whenever my hands (palms and pads of my fingers) and feet get really cold, ie if I'm holding a drink straight out of the fridge for a few mins or on a particularly cold day, they get really itchy! It's a stingy kind of itchy not just irritating.
Also my ears - inner and outer- sting really badly (like a bad earache) when they get cold. This is always happened though, nothing new.
Any idea what could be cuasing both these things? I'm really over it and now that it's winter I feel I really need to do somehting to about it.

I bet it's a peripheral circulation thing, or some sort of vasospasm. Have a chat to your doctor about it, although I bet there are lots of good natural things like minerals and gingko that are of use for chillblains that could help.
Its where all the tiny blood vessels squeeze for some reason (slowing the blood flow), I think sometimes it's hormonal, sometimes it's stress...I've heard of it when it affects breastfeeding but I think you can have it in other areas too. One of my friend's mothers had a similar thing, whenever she touched anything cold she got really irritated, itchy and sore...it's too long ago now so I can't remember what the treatment was.
Oh ok... Thanks
I'll see what the doc says.
Itchy palms and soles was related to i think Kidney or liver (cant remember which) failure or something during pregnancy, which I think I was borderline for so it has me a bit worried lol. But my rational mind is telling me I'm being a hypercondriac Lol
If it was your liver I reckon you'd get other signs...disrupted digestion, yellowing of skin and eyes, yellow poo. But it sounds like you've been worrying about it for a while so best to chat to dr, make sure they do a whole work up to eliminate anything you're worried about.
