Laparoscopy recovery time & working :)

Mine was exploratory, but it took about 4 days for me to get back to normal. The gas for me was a shocker and caused a lot of pain. But everyone is different, I know people up and about the next day with minimal fuss.

I was back in the normal swing of things pain wise within two days.. but it was the recovery from the anesthetic that was really hard. It took me about 4 days to feel normal again, I just felt constantly tired.

Thanks all, I think the best idea as Buffy1 suggested is to have someone as 'back-up' for me just in case, so if it turns out that I'm still feeling crap I can call them on Friday afternoon so they can fill in for me.
