You've been through a lot and it's probably because of stress.
I've had it happen on and off over the years when trying to handle stressful times, I switched to a keratin shampoo and conditioner and that seemed to ease it a little.
As the title suggest I am losing my hair....lots of it.
It is every where...every time I run my fingers down my pony tail I get a handful, my brush is always full and washing my hair results in a drain clogged with it.
I am constantly pulling hairs of me, or bub or the floor.
I have/had really thick hair nearly down to my waste...it has noticeably thinned in the last few months.
The hair is coming from the roots not breaking.
I am a little worried.
I would love to hear and suggestions or solutions or anything really.
It just won't stop.
TIA

yeah you have been through a lot. If you're really worried, see a doctor or even speak to your hairdresser.
i was going to say stress too.
After I had DD for about a year i lost a lot of hair, hormones, then it just stopped, im sure it will happen again this time.
My GP sugested something i could take, some vitamin, maybe have a chat with your gp.
Thank you for your responses
Yeah I was thinking it may be stress too.
I might try the keratin shampoo and conditioner and maybe a multi vitamin.
If they don't help I will go see the GP.
The last time I saw a hairdresser was before my birthday in August last year...maybe I am a little overdue![]()
I've had this before too. I totally felt like everywhere I turned to there was my hair that's fallen out. Seriously thought I was going to be bald, and I'd almost cry. I'm not fully sure what caused it, maybe it was stress and being so so rundown. It kinda just stopped one day/week ( I can't remember fully).
So sorry I can't help, just wanted to give you some hugs.![]()

RainbowBrite - this is happening to me too! My hair is everywhere & it's getting disgusting. I am sweeping up handfulls every single day. Can you please let me know if the shampoo works for you? I might have to give it a whirl myself.
I had this from stress and losing too much weight...
A good quality shampoo and conditioner is vital!!
Try the Nioxin range, it's made for different types of hair loss etc and targets the actual hair follicles in the scalp... My husband is using it and the thinning of his hair has stopped!
oooh Thank you so much! When I'm home in Aus in April, I"ll be going straight to the hairdresser to get this sorted!
just wondering what happened with your hair? Mine is falling out as you describe although I don't feel particularly stressed at the moment. I'm not bothered if I lose my hair but am slightly concerned that there could be an underlying health issue.
Having the same problem too.. Iam stressed out a bit. Im losing hair too much. when I wake up in the morning there are too much hair scattered all over the bed... I'll try the suggested shampoo might help a little. thank you for the suggestions.
I lost heaps of hair and even started balding from the front of my hair line after all 3 of my children, it eased after a few months when my hormones settled...which is very normal apparently but everyone forgot to tell me this so i freaked out lol! but what i did find usefull was taking fish oil..and my friend is also finding fish oil is helping so worth a shot for sure, good luck.
To all members who are describing heavy hair loss. If you have other symptoms such as unexplained weight loss, racing heart, tiredness, feeling agitated, hand tremors (to name a few) PLEASE mention all these symptoms to your doctor and ask if it could be a thyroid problem.
Hair loss was one of my symptoms before I was diagnosed with Graves Disease. Apparently (according to my doctor) 1 in 9 women have an undiagnosed thyroid problem... usually it's under active but sometimes it's overactive which can be potentially life threatening if left untreated. I am now on medication which has stabilised the condition. I don't wish to scare you all, but it's something to consider.
