i know exactly what you mean..

i hated mine till DH kept telling me i looked silly when i covered them up with make up or hid them under clothes now i love them and am so proud that i have the southerncross, on my leg.
a heart shaped one on my elbow. the saucepan on my chest lol
hubby loves finding and conecting them and so does my 9 year old lol

Haha, i have the southern cross on my arm in freckles! True Aussies we are!

When I was little I wanted freckles so badly I drew them on my face with a brown texta!

I still love the look of freckles to this day. Especially with red hair. I would love to have red hair and freckles.

So please believe people if they tell you they think freckles are beautiful. Chances are they really are telling the truth!

we often joke with dd and ask her to count mummies freckles... she gets to about 10 then gives up!

I have always longed for being one colour I hated being teased in school about having freckles, like your have been sunbaking under a fly screen or joind the dots

But I figure they are part of who i am and i am so lucky i have healthy skin!
