mid cycle bleeding????

Hi guys would love some input as to what is going on with me. Bit of back ground DD is 10mths old still BF quite frequently but no changes in feeding habits lately. Had AF back since 11wks pp (bugger) very regular 28-30 day cycles (as I have had all my life) About 3 mths ago had a long cycle (48day)then a slightly shorter then usual (25) This time I am only at CD 20 and spotting. I have been cramping for about 6-7 days ( and was secretly holding out hope we had conceived a little surprise) but now :-(. I have horrible backpain as well which I have only had in conjucntion with Af one other time and that was when we miscarried in 2001. Any suggestions??? Thanks

Do you think you could be ovulating? With some cycles I get a fair bit of pain and spotting with it.

I'm pretty sure that happened a week or so ago when the cramping started as I had some strong stitch like pains for a few days. Still not a lot going on which is unusual for me... maybe it is just spotting?

Well it is no longer spotting, woke up this morning to some really horrible cramps and things are in full swing now. Is it worth going and seeing a dr regarding all this weird cycles or is it something that happens to everyone now and then?

Sara, not sure, but after my dd my periods became lighter, yet more painful - even more painful after my mc's.
Id go to doc if you are really uncomfortable - dont know if you can take naprogesic while BF?
There might be something more to it, id check it out.
