Oh the poor baby, hope he feels better soon. Good idea to keep the kids away from him, then you really would have to deal with the smells.....

Is he sick because he ate prawns again? Or is it a bug? If from the prawns give him phernergon (if he isn't allergic to it of course) it might help.

na not the prawns this time....

heres the update he has a bit of a fever yet feels alright to touch on back. he has bad lower back pain like contracting type pain coming and intensifying then going, his kidneys are very sensitive and he has finally kept down water down for 2 hours, runs stopped this morning so that's good but his legs feel very heavy and aching. he said his nausea feeling has subsided or the pains in back have intensified. He is moaning a bit but when asked whats the pain like he said 7 i gave him some panadol and held a heat pack on him for some time.

ive NEVER seen him like this before.

Is he having trouble breathing? Just keep an eye on him incase he gets any worse. You said his kidneys are sore, Is he having trouble weeing? Any pain or blood?

sounds like classic gastro and his kidney's are hurting from lack of fluids going in and also the constant vomit and pooing.

Give him some hydralyte to help rehydrate him and give him some energy. He will probably get the chills in the next few hours. Just keep him as hydrated as you can and panadol every 4 hours. Even if he brings the fluid straight back up (or poos it out), it is still getting some hydration happening and is better than nothing.

    Good luck. Poor poppet.
