I would do it personally....

I was diagnosed with Gallstones when I had my first attack when DS was 4 weeks old and I am still waiting to get mine taken out.
I am having keyhole and have to wait until I come up on the waiting list. I am able to manage mine with diet but it can be a real PITA.

Oh dear! You poor thing!

I would definitely get it done. I was diagnosed with gallstones after a major attack when DD was 4 weeks old. I eventually got it removed 5 months later and hated every minute I had to live on the edge, waiting for another attack. I'd say the sooner you can have it removed the better.

I hope everything goes perfectly for you hun. How exciting that you'll be meeting your little one in 2 weeks time
