nose job anyone ???

I'll post later, I am off to the rally, but yes, it can be more than you are asking for. I have had a second surgery (first at 15, I was teased alot about my nose and it was a huge stress on my life) as a result of being unhappy with the first (alot of tissue grew back on the tip and looked worse) and even now I am not totally happy as my nose tip is still not even - my nose is not straight. As my surgeon said, its hard to operate on the tip because it swells quickly so its hard to judge. I saw a surgeon last week as you are entitled to a revision if it's not right, and I had a meltdown because he had retired and I saw another surgeon in his place (who was probably more sensible I guess, he is also an ENT surgeon and said unlike cosmetic surgeons, they of course are going to strongly favour functioning and structure of the nose - he sees people with sunken noses, can;t breathe properly as they asked for an unrealistic nose and the cosmetic surgeon just goes, yep no problem, I'll do it!) and he suggested no further revisions based on the fact after the first surgery, it gets much, much more difficult, the nose is more like leather inside to operate on, the skin gets thinner meaning that any imperfections stand out more. He didn't think he could make me happy and couldnt even think of a surgeon he could trust to do a brilliant job of it. Because the bone and other parts of the nose is live, it can grow out in some parts - when you run a finger down the bridge of my nose, you can feel two small points. Its not visible unless I scrunch up my nose... but I was so gutted that I just have to be happy with what I have, tip surgery is especially difficult and if you do get surgery, its so hard trying to find someone who will do a brilliant job. They need to be doing lots of rhinoplasties per week, most cosmetic surgeons are all over the shop. Please think hard about this - sounds like you have a beautiful nose anyway.

My cousin and a friend have both had their noses done but both were for deviated septums and this affected their breathing. They both also had huge bumps on their noses.

My cousin looks like an obvious fake as her nose is now too small for her face and as she has gotten older it looks worse. She hates it.

My friend just had hers done a few weeks ago and is still recovering. Hers looks better but her nose is extremely sensitive and she was in a lot of pain. On the upside, she can breath which was the main issue.

Nah, I'd never have my nose done, i don't like my nose as it has no shape but the way I see it, it's not like I have to look at it that much LMAO! I COULD spend heaps of money on a nose, but again, I'd hardly ever see it, so its kind of like whats the point to me. People have different shaped eyes, ears, noses etc. its part of who we are. If we were all the same we'd be BORING.

NOW, boobs on the other hand... I can SEE my boobs, so I'd love to get those pulled up a bit after I finish all my babies LOL!

(yeh, Nai my friend did it also for her breathing problems ... she was so thrilled to breath through her nose properly for the 1st time in all her life, so that was a plus+ )

That is what i am scared of. my nose looking too small for my face.

I enquired about the price and for cosmetic purposes only it would cost bw $6.5k-$7.5k all incl. It is a day stay op too.

I'm still weighing it up. May be tummy tuck and nose at the same time, is one option i'm looking at, but also weighing up the degree of pain i'd be in for both at the same time.
